It is still Thursday July 28. After my visit to the Solitudering (See my previous blog post) I drove to Neuremberg where I would spend the night. This was also a great opportunity to visit the Norisring, a street circuit around a huge grandstand of stone which was built by order of Adolf Hitler.
It was Thursday morning July 28, 2016 when I leaved my hotel in Mannheim and drove in the direction of Stuttgart. For this day I had two track visits on the programm, the Solitudering and the Norisring.

Here part two of the Circuit Tour 2016 through Germany, where I visited ten motorsport locations. This time I tell you about my visit to the ruin of the old Opel Test Track or like they say in Germany: Opel-Rennbahn. I also report about my visit to the nearby Rosemeyer Parking.
I'm proud to tell you that yesterday evening (September 17, 2016) we got the 1000th subscriber to the Circuits of the past YouTube Channel. Only a half year ago I was happy with the 500th subscriber. Since then my channel growed faster and faster. Not so long ago I got a few new subs per week, now there are 6 or 7 new subscribers every day! Time for a retrospect and a look in the future.
This summer I made a journey through Germany where I visited ten motorport locations! The journey started in the early morning of July 25, 2016. I leaved my hometown Heerenveen and headed towards Nürburgring.
